In this video we're continuing our discussion on the Russian case system by introducing the Prepositional Case. The "Prepositional Case" is only used after prepositions (hence its name), and in this video we introduce this case by looking at the preposition -в. The Prepositional Case is sometimes referred to as the "Locative Case" because two prepositions (-в and -на) are used with the Prepositional Case to indicate "location". Keep in mind that this case is also used with the preposition -о, meaning "about" (for example, when you're talking "about" someone / something). To form the Prepositional Case, singular nouns take the ending -е, regardless of gender.
