Another fun fact: Emiya can't normally project divine constructs. The only reason he can project Excalibur is due to having it's scabbard fused into his body as a child and the fact that he was Artoria's master. Even then he can't project Excalibur without destroying his saint graph outside the moon cell

Shirou/Emiya has always been goated with the bow, he just doesn’t like using it because it doesn’t fit his desired hero archetype. Emiya Alter throws that out the window with sword gun tho.

Another fun fact, the material both his body armor and the bow are made of are from a metal alloy from a future that is said will never come to be. This alloy is so strong that it lets him shoot off regular noble phantasms and overcharged ones. That’s crazy powerful

Additional fun fact, while Emiya can project any weapon, he can also project its flaw/hollow version where he proceeded to fill in the gap with shit ton of mana to force the weapon become unstable and explode on impact. That also circumvent the de-rank that happened when he project the weapon

Also fun fact for Nasu verse fans. His cloak is a holyshroud (as explained in the vn). This makes it a mystic code that Shirou obtained in his lifetime post the events of fate. What isnt explicitly stated is that the cloak was supposedly a gift from Tsukihime's Ciel. This may be retconed now that tsukihime and fate exist in different worlds. However its also possible that Fates version of Ciel also became a executioner for the church where she briefly met Emiya. It can also be another church executioner who gifted the Shroud, but it is most definately a gift from the church.

Another fun fact: Emiya Archer is weaker than his real version, but still powerful enough to replicate most of his original feats. This also applies to other servants, due to various limitations imposed by the holy grail that prevent them from causing irreparable damage to the world itself. Gilgamesh and Saber, for example, are capable of destroying the world if they wanted to or are ordered to do so. Just one hero class doesn't have that much limitations, the Ruler class.

I think my favorite part about EMIYA is that his stats are so low because he's from the future, so if one of the wars took place in his own time, he might not have such shit stats, it's also why the extre verse version is known as nameless and not by his actual name because being a nameless hero is better than being by his name in terms of stats.

Emiya is a prodigy in archery before he quit their high school team. He took advantage of that when he became a heroic spirit, choosing the archer class because according to him, and because its an absolute truth, there's no way for him to win in a melee fight against regular servants.

I REALLY WISH that we got a version of Emiya that used more his bow and errors (maybe a younger, similar to the Wanderer Shirou that we see in some Archer flashbacks in UBW)
He could even have Rho Aias as the NP instead of always using Blade Works

Realistically he should be able to use Excalibur and every divine contruct however he want in his UBW, he didn't trace it after all, it was already inside of UBW the moment he lay his eyes on it with the very few exceptions where he can't analyse the weapon at all like EA

Another fun fact: archer is stronger than any and all servants as he is a counter guardian, drawing power from counter force. If alaya deems it necessary for humanity, archer can whoop gilgamesh's a$$ straight to enkidu.
