Triangle Strategy: Chapter 7 - Avlora Fight Cheese [NO TRAPS] [Full Fight]

The full Avlora boss battle in Chapter 7, using the Hughette cheese and no traps.

This was on my first playthrough (no NG+).

This fight is very long without using the traps, but it's worth it.

If you choose to save Roland, you must win this battle without using the traps if you want the "True Ending" later, as it's one of the requirements for it.

If you did not choose to save Roland, you can skip this battle and don't lose the chance for the "True Ending" route later (but lose Roland for the rest of the playthrough).

You can of course also use this strategy in HARD mode, but it will take even longer since enemies are tougher.

Keep in mind, this game has New Game+ so if you mess up choices and savegames, you can still get it right in another playthrough.

There is a similar fight later again but only after the True Ending route is unlocked.
You can use the same strategy there if you lack the characters on your 1st playthrough like I did.

I did this fight no traps too ! it was p hard but using Serenor/Erador to tank left side helped a lot
What i love is the fact he game takes this into account when you progress the game ! (villagers say stuff like "thank you lord for not burning our houses !")

i beat this on like my 8th try without using the citys traps, i used the smugglers traps (Rudolph) and if you unlock the blacksmith his spring trap was maybe even more useful, if you hold the top left it forces her up that way, and a spring trap throws her into that wall, making her keep her distance and doing about 30ish damage.

I caught Avlora in a trap and killed her instantly which was nice. I just didn't realize triggering the traps locked you out of the Golden Route!

I beat this yesterday. Lost Frederica and the old man archer. They died near the end and I wasn’t wanting to start over for it. It was hard, but an awesome challenge. Also the soundtrack is beautiful 😍

This is how i beat this chapter. You'll need to use the hughette cheese and bring a tent in those house roof tops. next slow down the enemy movement with corentin's Iceblock, try to cover 3 spaces if you can. and make use of that barrier to tunnel the enemy together and just burst them down with the AOE attacks. Narve, corentin and frederica is a must. have Narve help with healing. Use benedict has the tank and use his defense up skill to buff up your other front line. make sure to take advantage of julio tp+ on Corentin so you got Ice block ready when it melts or destroyed.

Probably multiple ways to do this. Note that you can also warp a support up to the houses.

I did it a bit differently. I used mainly abused sarge ice ability, with frederica fire to create water the clown girl throwing stones on the water you chain electricity / paralyze. And decoy for a few extra turns and steel traps.

This battle was crazy hard! I got stomped and I used all the traps…

This took me hours upon hours. Unfortunately, for me, I triggered so many traps by ramming Avlora and I rage quit due to my insatiable frustration. Not to mention, I would do this on Hard Mode with no deaths.

Still trying to farm enough conviction to skew the vote, it might be the case that you’re meant to surrender Roland the first time around and come back for the other option once you have more conviction, but it’s still a little frustrating

I’m having trouble. I got really close though. All though my stalls are down. So I wonder still get the true ending
