Mephiles would most likely win. Even if he "died" he could just travel back in time to when Infinite was base and kill him then. Mephiles also showed much better feats such as KILLING SONIC IN LESS THAN 20 SECONDS.

The reason that Infinite wins is probably because he can quite literally alter reality itself (with illusions that can actually damage and kill)

Mephiles is a time traveler, he can simply kill infinite just by traveling to the past. Not to mention Solaris is a 4D being and exist in past, present, and future. And Mephiles is just better as a villain and character

Ok I half agree with this.

I think Infinite can beat Mephiles if both were at their full power.

While Mephy can summon an army of himself, Infinite can do the same and more with other Sonic characters.

But Solaris vs Infinite? Infinite is just some guy with fancy illusion powers from the Phantom Ruby and was beaten by base form Modern Sonic and the Rookie, Solaris required 3 Super Hedgehogs to defeat him in the past, present, and future simultaneously. Not to mention he exists on a dimension higher than Infinite and the Phantom Ruby.

Sure the Phantom Ruby's power has shown to be capable of hurting Super Sonic as seen in Mania and stated to be superior to that of the Master Emerald, but even then Infinite lacks the means of actually defeating Solaris. At best he could beat Solaris in one era, but it wouldn't matter when the past and future Solaris still exist.

Realistically speaking, infinite has no way of ensuring Mephiles is killed due to his physiology. Mephiles has been shown to re atomize himself and clone himself, he has also been shown to convert himself into a shadow. We should also consider that he has the ability to warp time, giving him an advantage in battle IQ. Physiologically speaking, infinite is just a jackal and his power comes from one prototype ruby, since he is able to take damage there is no reason to believe Mephiles could simply use his piercing attack on him. Mephiles is similar to Iblis in that neither can ever be vanquished unless Solaris is destroyed past future and present and the flame of Solaris is burnt out forever.

They should do a story of Infinite the Jackal of his childhood life, how he became a mercenary, and met his friends in which they are called the jackal squad and even a Mephiles origin story

So basically lets see yes sonic needed to beat solaris with super shadow silver but theres one thing solaris was excisted on past future and present so they needed to become groups basically its a 3v3 situation so we cant say 3 supers needed for solaris but infinite was also 1 super needed if we look at the fact that he beat infinite with avatar that makes like a 1.5 of a super so yeah that actually makes sense mephiles lost this

To be fair, about people saying, “oh, well shadow easily defeated infinite🤓” infinite didn’t have his powers at the time, so I think if shadow and Infinite thought with infinite having his powers, he would win, and also infinite was weakened we sonic defeated him, he used up about most of his power and he was injured

Screw those last two. Solaris was a canonically omnipotent and omnipresent deity that took the likes of 3 supers to subdue. Infinite can scale up to universal level, and even with the whole “strongest foes yet” statements from sega, infinite doesn’t have the feats. I think it’s a great match up of you take the form mephelis had prior to the Solaris transformation. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk ✌️
