Happy Baby Pose | Yin Yoga

Suggested Yoga Props: 1 Yoga Strap, 1 Bolster, and 2 Yoga Blocks.

You should feel a stretch primarily in your low spine as the vertebra start to separate away from each other and away from the discs. Start of by holding pose for 30 seconds - 1 minute. Work your way up to hold stretch for 2-3 minutes.

I love this stretch! When I remember to elevate my lower back and bum I am able to crack my lower spine and it feels great! Anyone else love this pose??

Keyphrase: Glutes and spine and elevated off the mat. This is my second semester taking yoga and I still find this pose awkward, but once getting into it, it’s a relaxing position.

The first time I saw this pose done, I thought "this is gonna be awkward..." But once you go into it, it really is a great, relaxing stretch. This is one of many poses where you just have to trust that everyone in the room is there, doing their own thing, so you just need to focus on your personal journey.
