he said receive Christ as Lord and savior, Jesus said if he is lifted up he will draw all men to him, Jesus said repent and believe the gospel, and repentance lead to salvation.

When I was 12,   I experienced the presence of God come over me drawing to come to the altar. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to say, and I knew it was important. I decided I better receive councel,   and so I waited to go forward. I did get councel, and once I knew all I had to do was go to the altar and ask to be saved, the next Sunday, I went forward practically before they even started singing the invitational hymn. The Pastor led me in prayer to ask Jesus for my salvation. I truly believed I had been saved. Was I too late already to receive this call from God? I hope someone can answer my question?

One can repent from sin, one can also repent from false idols. We were all saved with His blood. All we need so is Know Him. Jesus is our lord and savior -
God knows we are full of Sin - that’s why he sent his Son Jesus to die for us. Our father adores us. ❤️🙏🏼🙌🏼

If that was the requirement for salvation, we'd ALL go to hell. Thank God that you just have to put your faith in Christ's sacrifice.

repent in the new testament is metanoia. it means change your mind. not to reform your life by trying to stop sinning. repentance unto salvation means to stop trusting anything else to save you and change your mind to believe that what Jesus Christ did in His death for sins, burial, and resurrection, was enough, PLUS NO EFFORT OF YOUR OWN.

Praise God, Repentance . I am irresponsible and derelict in my service to God. I committed adultery, others views of my irresponsible dereliction in itself opened a window for my failures through my sins in irresponsible derelict service. For evil I opened the window and invited him in unwittingly. I set myself up for failure in my service through my derelict irresponsible flesh. I was really blinded by love, selfish, lustful overcome by desire. Forgive me 🙏
