Mamma Mia Bass Cover

Bass cover of Abba's 1975 hit 'Mamma Mia', which featured on the album 'ABBA' ( also titled 'I do, I do, I do, I do, I do' in some countries).
As one of the band's bigger hits, this is also the song that spawned the movie franchise.
It is also one of the few Abba records that their regular bassist Rutger Gunnarsson did not play on; the original bass track on this song was played by British bassist Mike Watson.

How do you get that very consistent tone when you play the octave on two strings? On the part "And when you go, when you slam the door..." Takes a lot of practice I guess, but what can think of if I want to learn how to play it like you do?
