Australian Wheat Harvest 2021 Finally Finished!

I went next door and took a quick look at the John Deere CTS harvester that burnt a few weeks ago, had a chat with Tony on the John Deere S690 harvester, watched Greg weld up a new thingymajig on the truck spring and had a look at the smashed up yellow truck from a blown out tyre. What a horrible harvest with over 200-300mm of rain that left crops flattened and shelled out. Hopefully 2022 will be a better one.

They did a great job getting that fire out before it burnt the entire machine to the ground. Our wheat was green underneath but we were fortunate that the 7 inches that fell in November came to an abrupt halt and harvest went smoothly without any stoppages. That was a whole new level of green... very unfortunate!
