Thanks for the video. I applied on March 5th for TERA health benefits. It is still being reviewed. I called the hotline and they told me they are still trying to verify my connection to a TERA. The issue is that my connection to TERA is not one of the locations listed but from my service inside the US. My AFC/MOS was air transportation and it has many different jobs. Some are desk jobs and some are on the flight line servicing air transportation aircraft (C141s, KC-10, C131, KC 135s, and C17s). I spent 2 years on the flight line and had noise, JP8, and human waste exposure (faulty equipment). I also had exposure to asbestos while assigned to a dorm interior demolition tiger team that lasted at least 6 months. I submitted evidence showing my AF records of working on the flight line in air transportation, I submitted my diagnosis of allergies, asthma, IBS, and tinnitus. I currently have a claim in process for compensation but it's stuck on stage 3 and I wanted to receive healthcare regardless of the outcome of disability payment claim.
We will see how long it takes the VA to make a decision.

Camp Lejeune is the marquis case but EPA and DoD have been quietly studying bases all over the world and finding similar pollutants, toxins and carcinogens at EVERY base. Ifyou served prior to 1990 your chances for exposure was much higher because there were no standards for handling, use, or disposal of toxic materials. Disposal was left to the discretion of base commanders. The typical disposal methods was to dump toxins into open, unlined pits.

Be careful at VA urgent care visits. I went to urgent care to request lidocaine patch for back and cervical pain recent flare ups. Doctor wanted to do a range of motion on lumbar and cervical i said no it hurts to bad. He asked if i can move my legs i said yes but hurts my back to do leg lifts. Looked at doctor's notes and he wrote that i deferred cervical and lumbar spine examination and that "patients was able to extend lower extremities fully on extension and flexion" put no weakness weakness lower extremities. He didn't even do a flexion range of motion test on my lower extremities 😡 i told him both my feet were numb tingling From sciatica. Some VA doctors just make shit up to put in their notes. He did say i had degenerative disk disease and advised i do a consultation with an orthopedic doctor.
Can i dispute what the va urgent care doctor said about my lower extremities because i have painful motivation doing leg lifts ?

Thanks for covering this Clay, I served 3 years in Iwakuni Japan and was exposed to mold, cockroaches, expired commissary food all the time and god knows what else. Sadly, I’d say 90% of Marines are exposed to mold at some point.

Curious as to how an already completely overwhelmed system, is going to deal with the logistics of responsibly caring for millions of new clients?

I am on Medicare and tricare for life, retired after 27 years in 2005. I don't want to go to VA for Healthcare because I'm worried they might try to lower some of my ratings.

Hey man, firstly ignore the idiotic comments you’ve been posting. Your channel is gold and the information you provide is invaluable.

I have a question regarding the claim process, if you have any insight or idea. As you know, waiting is the name of the game. This morning I finally had an update, and it’s just the “submission” of every DBQ on the VA site. My C&P was 30 days ago. Do you know if a status update of “You or someone else submitted DBQ” means they’ve REVIEWED the DBQs, or they are simply uploading them?
Thanks

Hopefully it takes away the income cap. I was injuryed in the line of duty. I was brought to the emergency room last year.

While I was dealing and am still deal with pain from my injuries, I got a phone call from the VA saying it looked like I made too much and was no longer allowed to use the VA for medical care. Thanks to the PACT I was told they don't need to verify my income until 2030 due to my deployment in 2019 -2020.

So not sure if they are still checking veterans salaries with this bill.

I’m retired Army and have Tricare. Would VA healthcare (community care) be secondary to Tricare? VA health care in my area has a horrible reputation so I’ll stay with my Tricare funded PC Dr. just want VA to pick up co-pay and Chiropractor.
Thanks for all you do to help Veterans!

I was deployed after 9/11 Operation Noble Eagle. We were tasked with guarding stockpile of mustard gas and other chemical weapons research sites. Would this be covered?

How is this going to be possible???? At my VA they have fired so many Doctors and removed most of the equipment that most of what used to take 6 floors now is on the bottom floor it takes months for the few remaining old Vietnam Vet's to get anything, 5-6 + months for a X-ray, Cat Scan or ultrasounds etc. The same for specialty Clinics and Eye can take up to nearly a year. Most will die of old age before they can get a appointment if what you say happens.

If you go outside they will send strict orders to only check something they know to be benign and nothing else and no tests (FACT)..don't ask to up pain meds needed for 30 yrs they will cut it in half (Fact again) The VA is full of Hate of Veterans.
