I have a question, so I'm interested in Cultural Anthropology however as a kinda of petite women, I'm a little nervous about traveling to different places around the world. So my question is Cultural Anthropologists travel alone or with a co-worker/group?

11 years ago this serves as video evidence that the importance of cultural anthropology had to be made to suit the business class who demand business majors and everything surrounding business, capitalism, the very mechanism tearing away at departments that offer Humanities. Look at how he has to grovel to the elites to make a case for why anthropology is important.

I believe that it is an unfortunate reality that cultural anthropology is not readily available to (most)  American high school students. As a student of history I benefited enormously by accessing additional approaches and skills sets for application towards my study of European, Asian, and Russian (Eurasian) histories. When I have had the opportunities to teach history I have infused applicable elements of the anthropological approach into history-- resulting in what seemed to have been (for the students) an increased recognition of the applicability of history, and a deepened (if not new) awareness of human agency and causality. Above all, cultural anthropology enables a broadened field for considering the contexts in which human history is created, studied, and asserted.
