NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (AIA) captures a shot every ~10s in 10 different wavelengths of light. These include: 94, 131, 171, 193, 211, 304, 335, 1600, and 1700 Angstroms.

Each is meant to showcase different layers of the sun with various characteristic temperatures and ions observed.

Which is your favorite?

All footage courtesy of the SDO AIA team, from November 25th, 2024 (11/25/24, 11/25/2024) displaying 2 large flares, one from Active Region (AR3910) in the top left corner and a region rotating to the back of the sun in the bottom right corner. See the same large flares in all their glory, in each wavelength!

Which wavelength do you like best?
94 (blue)? 171 (yellow)? 304 (red)? These are all in the UV spectrum, and these are pseudocolor (false-color) images.

I like all three ! Blue being easier on the eyes.
