Romania has condemned a Russian drone attack against a Ukrainian port near its border that has become a vital cog in Kyiv’s grain-export route through the Danube Delta.
Bucharest said that the attack on Reni, on the opposite eastern bank of the Danube River, broke “international humanitarian law” but had not threatened Romania.
“These attacks against civilian targets and infrastructure in Ukraine are unjustified,” it said.
