Shocked Russia & China : US Testing AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopters With Sensors And Avionics

Under the terms of a $169.5 million contract announced on Monday, military helicopter designers at the Boeing Co. are getting ready to construct about two dozen AH-64 Apache attack helicopters for the U.S. Army.

Long lead items for lot 12 of the AH-64 attack helicopter will be provided by representatives of the Boeing Defense, Space & Security segment in Mesa, Arizona. To keep overall production on schedule and because long-lead items are expensive and time-consuming to procure, they are funded early in the aircraft design process.
