Xiom Vega Pro's descedant the Vega X is the Tensor rubber with the best price to quality ratio right now. Performance is high end while price is low end.

Try Palio Ak47 rubbers guys. Red, yellow or blue. You will never want anything else. They are much cheaper but provide very good spin, speed and control.
You can get 2-3 ak47 for the price of 1 mxp

Hi! Can you do a similar video about Dignics 05?

Great video. Personally, I have an Andro Treiber CI off with Yasaka Rakza Z on backhand and Nittaku Fastarc G1 on the forehand. Found it to be a great combination, only issue so far is the weight.

Mxp is faster and amazing for blocking and driving but poor for looping. Mxp is also the heaviest rubber. T05 amazing for looping but difficult to control in passive shots due to high spin sensitivity. Rozena is very spin insensitive but feels quite dead compared to other rubbers. It takes away the joy of spinning and feeling the ball but it's great at negating others spin.

Good review. I'm currently (finally) using Tenergy 05 red, and Dignics 05 black. I had been told I would probably have an issue with control but I have not found that to be the case at all. I had been using Andro Rasanter 53, 42 which I liked (and still like).

Those differences you mentioned is literally what makes T05 the rubber it is. That being said, I don't think everyone would like T05, but rather a more balanced or simply toned down rubber in some of the departments might suit some players better. For example, chopping was pretty horrible on Timo Boll ALC + T05 2mm. Whereas, Vega Pro is good to chop with, as well as all the other things, albeit less feeling. Also Vega Pro has a pretty unique arc on topspin. Vega Pro doesn't engage/lock the ball like T05 does, for that look into omega series, all omega V rubbers has that lock/engage type of feel on the ball (don't know about omega 7). I don't think vpro is factory boosted, but tibhar evolution series is heavily boosted, so it'll wear out in a couple months and you'll have a different rubber afterwards.

I have a Yasaka Raksa 7 on Matsushita Pro Defender blade (Old Model) and this feel good to chop & attack.

I think the EL-S is the closest to the Tenergy 05 (in speed, spin, trajectory and feeling) in the Evolution family. Nowadays tons of rubbers offer similar or even better performance than the T05. You can choose nearly any of the rubbers around 40$ and you are just fine. Some are spinnier, some are easier to use, some are faster, your choice. Most likely you will adjust to it anyway.

I feel like the yasaka rakza 7 and X are also extremely good alternatives to Tenergy 05. I have rakza 7 soft on my backhand and it is amazing, the X and Z are supposed to be great for forehand but I havenet tried them yet. I am a diehard Hurricane 3 user on my forehand, Chinese technique is just so much superior.

Having played multiple sheets of MXP, I can’t recommend it due to its short lifespan. Playing 2x a week, that rubber lasted up to 3 months before it loses its performance. Pros play with it because they get free sheets and won’t have this durability issue.

Nice.
Have you tried nittaku fastarc g-1 ?

Very helpful. I'm playing the MXP at the moment but wan't to try something else but similar. Seems the Vega Pro is a good candidate.

Feel the same about Butterfly Rozana in its blocking characters.

played the tenergy for years, than the mxp, but to be honest, the most powerfull rubber without tuning that ive ever played is the rasanter r53 by andro.

Vega Pro is decent, but the topsheet is not durable at all. T05 topsheet keeps its grip at least 4x longer, so factor that into the price.

Andro Hexer powergrip is really good too...

Well I think there is no identical twin for tenergy 0.5 in all aspects, but it's a fact that there are several good rubbers (like an option) there on the market depending on the player. As the mentioned mx-p that I've tried and I liked a lot. I also like: Victas v 15 extra, gewo nexxus and evolution mx-d. All these are fine for me, but I still have tenergies 0.5 on both forehand and backhand in my paddle. 😂😂😂
But when I'll need to buy new rubbers I'll change... I'll have to choose among the rubbers I mentioned above because tenergy is too expensive nowadays (I think 😭)

I found Rozena to be too bouncy. Bad control for me. I prefer Dignics 05 on my backhand and Hurricane 3 on my forehand. Viscaria ALC. I'm gonna try regular Tenergy 05 on my other Viscaria though and see if I like it better than Hurricane 3.
