Tens of thousands of Lebanese have turned to solar power because the cash-strapped state cannot guarantee reliable energy supplies.
Solar now makes up 30 percent of the country’s power usage.
However, not everyone is able to afford it.

The Brits want to reject the use of solar pannels because the cost of energy is too high.

Lebanon should go for Chinese solar panels. Otherwise, if buying (expensive) European ones, Lebanon could go bankrupt before they can even deploy.

Guys you all are absolutely right that solar system is a perfect solution and definitely cost less, but cities are overcrowded so it's impossible for let's say people who live in a 10 floors building with 4 appartments each floor to provide space for their solar system, their only choice is the building's rooftop and it's not that big

Though, there are so many critism of solar panels but there is one big problem that solar would solve. Thats the issue of energy poverty. Solar is much cheaper to run and maintain despite the fact that energy prodtis intermittent it doesnt negate the super low cost of having solar.
