My son and his wife flew from Austin, TX to Mumbai with their 6 months daughter in 2018. I tried to tell them that such a long journey may not be good for the baby. The baby proved me wrong. She not only travelled safely to Mumbai and then on to Pune but also flew to Jammu and attended Kashmiri wedding of her mother's cousin before returning to Austin.
The young couple is very excited to be visiting parents with their baby. May they all be happy and joyous at all times.

When you said that your sister might cry, I said "YEAH she might". Thinking of how I cried when I held my newest niece for the first time in May, and she was only six weeks old at that point (born on Easter). Even those six weeks felt wayy too long, so I can't imagine having to wait six months! I'm the kind of aunt who is crazy about and with those kiddos 😍 so I want to meet them right away! My brother lives only one country away so it wasn't such a long journey fortunately, but even being so close to them we could not go because at that point crossing the border was not allowed for non essential travel. And nomatter how essential I feel it is to cuddle my baby niece and admire her little tiny toes and hands and everything in person, I highly doubt the police would've thought the same 😅🙈
So I had to gather up all my patience! In the mean time I finished crocheting more presents and anticipate the joy of getting to give them once I finally was there.
It is so sad how this whole situation can separate you from the people you love for long periods of time (at least by modern standards ofcourse), because we need each other so much, even more so in times of stress and uncertainty! I am glad you get to spend at least several months with your family! Your baby girl is adorable by the way 😊
