2019 Can Am Outlander XMR 650 6 Month Review

We are at 43 hours, our second service is done and the bike just rolled over 500km's. With a decent list of mods and plenty of seat time, let's take a look at my thoughts 500 kilometers into ownership.

I hear you with the foggy black side covers. I've got a 2021 1000XMR and that's the first thing I noticed and man does it piss me off. Also I put the full aluminum factory skid plates on it. They don't come with them because that's how they make their accessories, accessories, accessories. Those skid plates ran me $800 but I've heard them do their job a few times now. They're worth every wait we're Canadian and we don't have pennies anymore, they're worth every nickel!

There's no caps on the frame ends at the back of the bike for mund and shit to enter you'd think can am would be better at building frames then that good way of rotting your frame out

What about the clutch, what about the lean fuel condition from factory, what about the steering linkage were the nut would loosen an come off, what about the front diff " does it have full lock"?

Koomafloo, please tell me there are differences in the suspension between XMR and XT version? I mean the suspension travel and softness. Thank you!

Dislikes, tranny whine! I hate it so bad, yamaha is dead quite. Why is this so hard can am? Squeaky bushings and grease does not help. The japenese bikes dont make noise. Engine heat is insane! Other than that i like the can am 😠 i
