Motion Tracking in VideoStudio X8

This is a review of the new features that are available with Motion Tracking.

What's the first tracking type used for? All the vids I've seen on motion tracking just use the area option as it is here but never use the first one.

Is this work also for mask tracking?To change the whole background of the video..?

Why is Corel tracking only setup with the defaults of mosaic or blur. Why is there no way to have text like in After Effects or Adobe?

Have used Corel on and off for many years and purchased all the programs when available, However I have to say that it seems as soon as you have purchase one another release is out. I see many things updated but still there is a majority that remains unchanged which should be addressed if they haven't been changed already. Who do I write to that will acknowledge my Ideas and maybe include them in up and coming programs. One thing I will definitely say this software takes some beating. I am a pro in yet I'm still finding new things or better ways of building videos. I did come across one matter the other day, No sorry I cannot find it, But I have started to log these ideas. Unsure if from a programming background they are feasible. Interested?

Motion tracking since it was first introduced does not work as precise as you show here. I have tried this to blur out a moving car registration number, No matter what I have tried this does not seem to follow the path correctly and will go off in another direction. I have used Corel Video studio for many years and certainly no novice. The motion tracking side of video studio I have found helpful only a few instances although even in version 8 its still buggy. So instead I use Adobe After Effects. Certainly not happy with Corel'sMotion tracking..Would be open to suggestions but i have covered this and have tried to find out why it does not keep to the desired path.

Motion Tracking on VideoStrudio X8 is really annoying! I am trying to get some text to track with a section of a moving screen, however, there doesn't seem to be any way of anchoring the text so that it remains left justified to the point it is tracking with. Help!
