Being a mom of 6 kids, I have dealt with a lot coming through our household. So, I was not shocked when lice hit our home a few years ago. My sister had lice and I got it from her. I couldn't believe that I (24 years old) had lice. First I dyed my hair, cause I heared the ammoniak and other chemicals will kill the lice and the eggs. Then I used the lice comb and oh my god I had soooo many! I was disgusted of myself. Then I used dimeticon 3 times, I slept with a lot of coconut oil in my hair, I walked with a clay mask in my hair the whole day with lavendel oil. As you can see, I tried everything I saw andread on the internet. I wanted to cry cause it felt like I had to live with them for the rest of my life. Then I went to a lice clinic. After that I still used the licecomb every day. And now after 2 weeks I can say that I'm licefree! 😍
The conclusion of my story is, don't give up, just keep using the lice comb and it will be okay! Don't waste you're money on expensive drugs. And don't forget to wash you're bed, comb, clothes!
P.s. I'm so traumatized of lice that I won't hug children that easy anymore 😅

10 years ago, my friend that taught children got lice from one of them using his helmet for a short while. He infected me and I got rid of the bastards by sticking a straw in my mouth and submerging myself completely underwater for 40 minutes. After I drowned all the lice, I soaked my hair in vinegar, rinsed, dyed my hair and pulled out the flat iron. I straightened my hair in small sections from as close to the roots as possible. That fried all the eggs.

I repeated the drowning and flat ironing again after a few days and then again on the eighth day just to be sure. They were probably totally gone after the first time but I went overkill.

i live with 5 girls that have had lice for so long!! their mom claimed to finally get rid of them. but next thing you know i get them a few days before my birthday!! it was while in quarantine and the little girl that scratches her hair all the time always goes through my backpack and uses my brush, , like wth privacy!! she’s given it to my 3 year old baby sister and me. i haven’t had these things since the ending of 2nd grade. the mom could have atleast told us the issue we had to find out ourselves .
