Makes me wonder why the Czarsit regime joined the entente in 1907, Russia had much more in common with Catholic Austria-Hungary and Protestant Germany than the secular French or British regimes who were essentially completely bank controlled. The petty geo politics of the Balkan’s and Russias desire to gain a warm water port via Serbia drew them into a disastrous war that toppled their regime.
Gavillio princip also stated under interrogation that the ‘grand orient lodge’ was involved in the plot and that the Russian military attaché on Belgrade had provided the weapons, the Hapsburg police linked these to yet another mason lodge. The investigation documents were sized and locked away by the French after the war. There was definitely something more to the franz Ferdinand plot than we are told.
