Marine Telemetry Installation | Traxxas Support

Installing telemetry allows for use with the Traxxas Link Wireless Module and Traxxas Link mobile app for real-time readouts of telemetry data like speed, RPM, and temperature.

The app gives you access to the full range of powerful TQi tuning and telemetry tools through an intuitive high-definition graphical interface; and the ability to have a friend remotely monitor real-time telemetry while you focus on mashing the throttle.

Telemetry setup can be customized to suit specific needs, but these were the components we used for this installation:

Love this boat, Its fast and furious..Its a Blast to pilot around the lakes. Might be adding this setup soon. The M41 is pure speed and fun.

Be aware the setup described does not function correctly. Speed is almost always incorrect, the software does not handle two sources of speed (RPM sensor and GPS) well at all. RPM speed calc is a joke but will count toward top speed. Even if the preferences you specify prefer GPS over RPM, it alternates many times between the two when using it. This means the RPM sensor impacts speed and has to be disconnected. I did see this on another video but thought it might be a firmware issue. Traxxas head is in the sand and support is weak on this

Are the red arrows supposed to be green? My GPS lights green but arrows remain red?
