I just love the shimmering, twinkly, sparkley ambient noises in this one. It conjures an image of a deep ravine, golden sunlight reaching down through a thin haze and touching upon thick foliage clinging to the horizontal outcroppings. A small town sits on the largest outcrop, a rickety fence leading from a path to a cave down to the equally rickety buildings. Regardless of its durability the town and its surroundings feel magical, as if this place will never change.

This song is so nostlagic. I haven't heard it since I was about 5 years old in the car on my way to France for a holiday one year. I was instantly transported back to that moment when I heard this. What an amazingly beautiful, memorable song! I adore Coldplay.

I love all of COLDPLAY's work but there is something about this stripped down-not too produced album that just warms me.

This song takes me back to a memory of when i rode on this very fast water slide with my mother at great wolf lodge, it went at a high speed and we both couldn’t see where we were going and we couldn’t breathe underwater, but this song helped me get through that experience. We were confident and kept going. I want to thank Chris Martin for changing my life. He is my favorite singer. Most of his songs speak to me.
