Like your videos as I am in the process of buying an x758. Their is a way to show rpms where the hour meter is. Below is the steps to access it.

• turn key to accessory position, do not start engine

• press RIO button 5 times

• the HOURS display should turn into a display of RPMs

• start engine normally and you should see the RPMs go up/down

• when key is turned off it reverts back to display HOURS

Hey, I figured out something today on my X739. Of course to engage the pto, in my case the blades, you pull the switch out. I found out that at that point if the switch can be pulled up a little further and it is spring loaded so if let go it will return back down to the pro, blades, engaged. When it is pulled up to the spring loaded position and held before backing up it acts as the RIO switch so blades stay engaged, the same as the small yellow push button on the other side.

Long sorry short your video helped me last night in a bit of an emergency situation figure out how to start and get a 700 serious going after a neighbor who was riding it passed out, fell off and hit his head on the paved driveway.

RPM can be put on screen as can switch tests and more.
The factory shop manual lists all you can do.

Hi nice video! I just purchased a 2011 John Deere X720 and Ive notice that my orange button hasnt popped up. Its still in the down position. I have driven the tractor some. Is something broke in the differential unit? Any idea?
