FILM DESCRIPTION:
When a massive hurricane hits her Florida town, young Haley ignores the evacuation orders to search for her missing father, Dave. After finding him gravely injured in their family home, the two of them become trapped by the rapidly encroaching floodwaters. With the storm strengthening, Haley and Dave discover an even greater threat than the rising water level -- a relentless attack from a pack of gigantic alligators.

holding their mouths shut
honestly a toddler hugging its mouth is more than enough to bar them the ability to open their jaws, and they can't rapidly snap it. Also you can't sneak up on a crocodile, large amounts of sensors along their face allow them to detect faint movements in water with little effort.

It took a lot to make it through 100s of millions of years, after all

The turn off for this film is that you can tell the actors were dealing with CGI crocs.
They had nothing to react to. Florians don't know how to swim and are very afraid of crocodiles.

I like how today horror movies try his best to scare people but the bad writting and clichés just make them worse. Watching this makes me apreciate more movies like Hereditary and The Witch.

Alligators would prefer to eat a bag of marshmellows than a person. If I was in the cast the script wouldn't work- I would be calling the gators "Boots, " "Belt, "Dinner Jacket"

Dude if they remade godzilla 1998 they should make the baby Godzilla's look like gators and make that scene more terrifying than the original 1998 baby Godzillas
