I'm glad that they didn't stick with it. It doesn't fit the emotion that she is and honestly, I think with how she is now would make for a better unintentional villain. After all, she tried to suppress sadness and take control of Riley's emotions before everything began to collapse. That's not necessarily evil, but I think it makes for a better antagonist which is why I'm happy with what we got. :)

This is what I mean from Woody and Joy are the same character, think about it they were both meant to be evil and in their first movies they felt like they had all of the power but later learnt that one of them is essential and in the second movie they both get trapped! Hold up I just cooked 👨‍🍳🔥
