This is quite helpful! I don't draw mammal anthro characters, but I have a harpy character with bird legs. I will have to improvise on the toes but getting the proportions of the lower leg section right is a big help. Thank you for uploading!

Ahh thank you! The different drawings and positions are very helpful! Anthro can be annoying sometimes 😅 and thanks for comparing the anatomy of human/anthro/feral! It’s easy to forget it’s all the same bones in there. Heck, I went years calling the foot the ankle 😂

Dealing with kind of anatomy is such a mess that most animators prefer to draw anthropomorphic characters with cartoony human legs. Because your character is walking with her joins slightly off the line, her balance isn't the same as a regular human type character. This makes the animation a little bit more challenging, but the reward is high because you've created something totaly believable from pure fantasy. As usual, a great contribution for our education. Thank you Pixie, can never be disapointed by any of your lesson.
