Plus, it appears to enrich their happiness while they live! I am all for humanly raised livestock!

An extra plus is that pigs love to run around in a standing crop or grassland. They have a riot "hiding out".

Not sure how I came across your content but... I am super enjoying your content. As a pet business owner myself, watching other business owners both appreciate and enrich the life blood of their business (both the animals and hoomans alike) brings me such an inner joy to see!!! Thank you for filling these few moments of my life with a smile l, you rock!❤

Your doing it right man. I'm in the heart of the corn belt, very few here do cover crop, and even less no till. There's also a tiny fraction of the tree lines that existed when I was young. It's refreshing to see farmers who actually care about their impact on the environment.

That’s awesome. Pigs on pasture don’t do as much damage as people think. Plus I’ve learned that the heritage breeds don’t seem to root like the white pigs do.

Your pigs will enjoy foraging. This one seems to be enjoying your hardwork ❤

Fellow Mississippian here, great idea! If only kudzu was as nutritious. Thanks to the pigs, that land should produce good crops for the next few years.

Outstanding crop.

Youre hogs will pay you back generously in hearty reproduction thanks to the soluble mineral nutrition theyre getting from the plants drilling it up out of the soil.

If you havent read the albrecht papers i think youd thoroughly enjoy. Pdf easy to find. "Soil fertility and animal health" is a good one.

Nice to see conscientious farmers provide good nutritious food to their pigs. How do we order pork from you ?

Isn't this regenerative farming? Using what's to hand to reduce costs, reduce carbon footprint and increasing the welfare of your pigs? You're allowing your animals to "rootle and tootle" as the do naturally. I'm very glad that these little shorts of yours pinged up. We've a similar farm near me that works sheep.

Yeah the pigs get to run around and get some exercise and eat a wider variety of foods. Also its probably good for the land for crops to be growing and pigs to be digging around and fertilizing with their manure

So beautiful to see them outside like that! They look so happy! I hate seeing pigs kept in small spaces indoor. Thank you!!! ❤️

Makes perfect sense to me. I plan to do the same thing when I get pigs. Thanks for all the great tips.

My friend you don’t know me. But I am so happy that people like you. Are keeping chemicals out of other peoples bodies by feeding them natural things. It makes me feel good and hopeful for a better healthy future for so many people and the animal themselves. Can you imagine having to eat the same cereal every day? Anyway, you do an amazing job. Thank you for this video

Sounds like that couple hundred dollars was money well spent. I love that they have grazing areas instead of being locked in a pen their entire lives.
