Production is definitely not dead. Thank you for saying that. For anybody looking for work, you can find it especially in sports. Sports is rocking right now, especially local.

And in the church market, these mega churches are throwing money at video and production people.

I have been watching the prices in the used market for Canon L series lenses. In the last two weeks the average price on Adorama increased about $200. I am again waiting to see if these prices will come back down a little. I am guessing that this might be in response to what they think the prices on new equipment are doing as a result of the tariff situation.

If you are going to purchase equipment using a business loan, now is the time because inflation will go up because of tariffs. The Fed will probably raise interest rates trying to keep that inflation down.

I was talking to my camera dealers here in China and accidentally discovered that none of the major players have the Canon C80 in stock. According to one "Canon is very conservative in how much stock they produce" - at least at the moment. This begs the question: do we think Canon is giving up on cinema cameras over Sony continuing to win or is something new already coming? Note that neither C300-3 or C500-2 have been really replaced if we consider the C400 an in-between. Canon still has nothing like the Burano, which can do 6k in XAVC.
