New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said on Saturday, March 23, she was humbled by the support and solidarity of the Muslim community at a mosque in Auckland. Wearing a hijab, Ardern greeted and hugged several of the mosque attendees.
Hundreds of people gathered at the Masjid e Umar mosque to hear Ardern praise the hospitality of her hosts, with the Prime Minister saying that all that she has done was echo "the humanity of New Zealanders".
A little more than a week after a terrorist attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, the places of worship have re-opened.
Among the mosque visitors Saturday were survivors of the attack and people who knew the victims. (REUTERS/ VOA)

It's not important she wears hijab but important is that she stands for Muslims....

I am a white New Zealand gun owning male and happy to add my name to the post - unlike many of the haters. I am so proud of my country and of our Prime Minister who has shown what we need our leaders to be. I am comfortable with who I am and not afraid of diversity - happy to embrace ordinary people from whatever background or belief. I wish the same for you. Power is dangerous wherever it comes from. Ordinary people of all backgrounds need to support each other - it is division that feeds the powerful who prey on us all. Bryan King

Let us analyse - as a political figure, she is praised for:
1. Being a woman (an achievement, apparently)
2.Not being married to her partner (progressive, how?)
3. Having a child out of wedlock (again, what is positive here?)
If she were a woman in a Sharia law society, what do you think would happen to her if she had a child out of wedlock? Would she be stoned to death or would have acid thrown in her face?
I know politicians, when virtue signalling, do a lot of stupid things, but her hijab must be the biggest BS I've ever seen.
