*Wanna know about Umineko When They Cry?*
Umineko: When They Cry (Umineko no Naku Koro ni, lit. When the Seagulls Cry) is a Japanese dōjin soft visual novel series produced by 07th Expansion. The story focuses on a group of eighteen people on a secluded island for a period of two days, and the mysterious murders that befall them. Readers are challenged to discern whether the murders were committed by a human or of some other supernatural source, as well as the method and motive behind them. Umineko is the third title in the When They Cry series, preceded by Higurashi When They Cry and followed by Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru.

Some VERY important notes:
And so, EP7 ends here folks, and with it, Season 7 as well. There won't be any Season 7 investigation, so EP8 will be next. However, it may be a while till I start episode 8. I kinda want to focus on upgrading my computer, which can take a while to set everything, AND I want to focus on the next anime I wanna watch and talk about. So, at best, EP8 will start from end of July onwards, or later, who knows. Till then, I wish everyone the best~
Another succesful upload. I bless this day!

People keep thinking that "Fragment" in Umineko means timeline. I can understand why when R07 confuse us with his writing. But after EP7, we should understand that it has nothing to do with parallel world if we consider Umineko as Mystery. Parallel world exist in fantasy only. I interpret Fragment here means "story" created by someone. The 2.5M fragments Bern visited may means she go through every world/story the people in Umineko universe has come up with what had happened, be it forgeries, fan fiction, forum post or head canon. None of the world has ever consider that Beatrice/Lion is alive at the end. That's why Bern said she can't find it. Because no one ever created a world for it. There may be a chance Lion can survive but if no one ever believe in it, that world will never exist. Yes, this include Ange who had wished someone to come back.

You want to know something positive about the events Bernkastel showed us? Well, look at Eva.
From the very beginning Eva was supposed to be a hate sink character, both in-universe (since everyone blamed the murders on her) and for us, the readers. Most people who read Umineko despise Eva. How she treats Natsuhi in Episode 1 (even though Eva's suspicions were justified), what she did in Episode 3, what she did to Ange, how badly she treated Shannon, etc.. There are lots of bad things we can say about Eva.
But then we get to see this tea party, in which once again Eva is blinded by her greed and her selfishness... until Kyrie kills her husband and we finally watch her turn into someone worth rooting for. Someone who is shown to care about Ange's well-being, even though we know that it changes later. This tea party showed us that even Eva can be decent, depending on the circumstances. That's positive, isn't it?

And the same can be said about Rudolf and Kyrie. If they had not killed the others, Eva or maybe Rosa would have done it instead. If none of them had committed the murders, then Beatrice would have killed everyone. Is that better than Kyrie and Rudolf doing it? We already knew that these people were capable of murder. But just like every single character is capable of doing bad things, they are also capable of doing decent, awesome or heroic acts. If you want to see Rudolf care about other people, you need only read Episode 6 again, which ironically is Battler's game board. And whether Kyrie is a psychopath or not, we know at least that Battler and Ange loved her.
If you think about it, Battler would probably have never understood Beatrice, if he didn't learn the chessboard flipping skill Kyrie taught him. She taught him to put himself in his opponent's shoes and to try and see things from their perspective and that's how Battler was able to empathize with 'Beatrice'.

Umineko's characters can be awful, but they can also be awesome on occasion. They are well written and multifaceted. That's why we love them, right?

Kyrie caring about Ange is pretty implied with her suddenly rambling about how she does not care about her once she realizes that everything has come down to a 1v1 against Eva and she is even described as smiling after getting shot.
When Beatrice was confronted by the adults she said that she thought all the adults solving the epitaph before the first twilight was the least likely outcome, with the various plans she had prepared basically being the various routes that were explored in her episodes. So by that logic even if we assume that what Bern showed did happen, Beatrice still considered it a extremely unlikely, basically fluke possibility. She thought off herself as a murderous monster and of the adults of only turning into that under extreme circumstances, hence why she is so villainous in the games, while all the pieces get plenty of moments too shine, even if not strictly necessary.

I've always thought that Battler's promise to Ange that the story wouldn't be sad or painful at all could've been valid as a gold truth. All that's left is to find out what each of us place our trust in: Battler's promise or Bernkastel's red.

hey noby, i think you are misunderstanding something, the reason why there were not clues of kyrie and rudolf being the culprits is because all the events up till now are events in the gameboard, they are the stories beatrice planned to carry out but couldn´t thanks to this, where beatrice´s true identity killled everyone and those were hypothetical scenerarios that happened in the gameboard, menawhile this chapter implies that what we saw was probably what event was the one which did happened in real life and not the gameboard in which beatrice/yasuda carried them scenerarios, basically those were what if yasuda succeded

also, i just wanted to ask, if it's not a problem, is it possible for you to make a video or atleast a guide of sorts on how to install the umineko project mod? (cause i played using the 07th expansion mod). The mod is nototrious for being a pain to install properly and so i would like to maybe request an instruction sheet on how to install the mod...if possible..if not, fair enough! thanks anyway! looking forward to you checking out episode 8!

When you play episode 8, give us your final thoughts through the series. Especially on Tsubasa which is like a ova. Fangames as well as that fighting game golden fantasia.

I will now pose a certain argument, since you hypothesized in this video that the fragment Bernkastel showed to Ange and Lion is possibly a truth that Eva reached. This might very well be a story that Eva wrote down if we think of her and Ange as the sole survivors in the whole family. The problem is, at some point in the story, Eva passes out inside the golden room, after Kyrie shoots at her for the first time. So, how can the story after that be entirely truthful if Eva has not witnessed all of it? Do you get what I mean, Noby? I believe that's a good point to think about. Maybe Kyrie is not innocent, but can you objectively prove she's the monster she has been portrayed as?
