Yeah…had a public speaking class in college. Last presentation in class I stood up there and froze. The professor had to help me with it cause I was so scared. The class saw the color run out of my whole body. They were all concerned about me being so scared.


Edited to add: I couldn’t even focus that much, and I kept talking to the professor the whole way through the speech. It hurt so much.

I don't really struggle with public speaking as much but I still get increased heart rate, stuttering, shaking, and nervous feeling in my stomach. but I'm used to it.

I'm glad I'm not part of that 75%. I do theater and that would harm many of the plays. But I have something similar: Scopophobia. This phobia has two ways of appearing: The one when you're alone but you feel like something or someone is watching you and the one when a bunch of people are looking at you and screaming your name for NO REASON. I love performing in public but if a bunch of people stare at me and yell my name for no reason I GET A PANIC ATTACK----

As a person with this, I actually experienced this a long time ago, I stranded in front of my class to read our stories, I went completely pale and nearly fainted. Tears running down my face was so hot I couldn't even feel the tickle.
