3 Incentives for PPAs – Tracey Cumming

Показать описание
Privately protected areas (PPAs) are protected areas under private governance, and therefore related but distinct from government PAs, indigenous and community conserved areas, and combinations of the same. In 2018, the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas published Guidelines for Privately Protected Areas in an effort to elevate the awareness, recognition and integrity of PPAs.
This session is part of a eight-part video series bringing the IUCN’s "Guidelines on Privately Protected Areas" to live and giving PPA managers and supporters skills to enhance effectiveness and conservation outcomes. The video series was created during a series of trainings on PPAs and is part of a set of other training materials funded by the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation.
