Izzy's title defense is the most boring among all champs in men's category. It's okay if we don't always get an electrifying performance from him but he has continuously been giving us a very boring fights for the last 4-5 fights.

Happens to most champs. They eventually get to a point where they just coast to every victory. Weight cut issues aside, Olivera is the only “champ” that takes risks and makes to fight exciting all the way. Volk is leaning towards entertaining too

Izzy is a great fighter but he pales in comparison to Anderson. Not only did Silva not need all the gimmicky stuff, he had exactly TWO boring fights (Maia & Leites) during his title reign. Anderson Silva was an absolute killer and most of his fights are rewatchable again and again. Izzy is playing it safe, which is totally fine, but I hope he doesnt think that fighting this way is ever going to make people view him as the middle weight GOAT.
