It was a Urologist that surgically removed an aggressive high-grade cancer that was attached to my bladder, hence, saving my life! It was quickly diagnosed and treated, after I reported symptoms of hematuria (or blood in the urine). I am a nurse in the healthcare field, and I am very grateful to be able to continue my work serving others, as Urologist do every single day. I will always have a special place in my heart for all Urologist out there. Thanks!

The first time I tried to get TRT I got a male urologist. And didn't do any inspection except for he checked my prostate with the finger in my butt. The second time I got a female endocrinologist and she inspected me for gyno and checked my testicles. She ordered all of the appropriate blood tests compared to the male urologist. Now she is ordering me an MRI on my pituitary gland and another blood test. I think she is doing better.

Dr. Malik, I'm a 40-year-old man. You've helped me understand my body and change some habits that could have had big effects down the road. Given the stats you've given in previous videos, it's clear that many people will need a Urologist at some point. You speak about the frustration experienced by some, but Urologists, and indeed doctors as a whole, are bound by ethics/medical code to recommend the most safe and effective treatments. You in particular are a welcoming, professional source of reliable information on Youtube. Thank you!

i've found that women doctors in general are more apt to actually listen to their patients.

As far as Im concerned, my urology team saved my life! So many people die from prostate cancer and I could have been one of them! Although most of us are not comfortable dealing with the preemptive procedures, Docs like You save lives. Im so grateful for your channel. Please continue to discuss the sensitive topics, that many of us are uncomfortable facing.

I don't know what other people say but I saw the "jock itch" video of yours and being a software architect and a powerlifter I got readness in groin area cuz either I am sitting all day long or am soaked in sweat therefore, I applied a lot of talc and broad spectrum anti-bacterial cream for days but got no relief. Thereafter I got myself a corn starch based powder(to be honest, applied corn starch from my kitchen cabinet) and things improved a lot. All thanks to you.

I went to a local urologist for two years with regard to ed and frequent urination issues and preventative care. Quarterly visits.
Complete waste of time. I did some research during the Covid lock down reviewed options and found a new urologist. Recommended a Titan coloplast penile implant. Had it done 6/15/20. Best thing I ever did.
He also helped me with frequent urination. Life is good again.
I am 68. All the ed pills made me feel like I had the flu.

I recently found you on YT and found you very informative and very helpful for me. Being a man we find some of these topics embarrassing to talk about but you are very professional and nice to listen to. Thanks.

Hey Doc. The world is full of opinions and sadly some get listened to. I'm 60 soon have ED because of my heart and medication. You don't mess about and I personally like the way you address any subject having explained some subjects I wasn't aware of. Thanks for your quality professional content. Seeya

Hey Rena, Thank You so much for sharing your knowledge here. I was having a MRI of my T-Spine when they spotted this (they are calling it a Renal Cyst) but it is half the size of my left kidney. My regular doctor sent me to have an ultrasound of both kidneys and my bladder and prostrate. When the Radiologist was running that (I guess scanner?) around when she got to my so called left front quadrant the pain got so severe. I have a history with many tumors being removed, colon removed 8 inches during that surgery the surgeon found 2 tumors in my abdomen then 3 months later my appendix ruptured and the found a cancerous tumor in there then a couple years later they took out half my thyroid and found a tumor on the right side the size a little smaller then a gulf ball. I was having trouble breathing and I was choking on everything I ate and drank… I was badly exposed to asbestos years ago when I was 19 working in a machine shop machining these asbestos pads for the passenger railcars we were building and they say it also gets in your digestive tract too. I am 64 now and have been going through this since 2009. The first 3 surgeries were each 3 months apart. Now I have been tumor and cancer free for 9 years which my Oncologist released me in 2015. I am worried about this not being good, but I don’t understand why my GP in sending me to a Gastroenterologist and not a Urologist. Could I get an answer from you on which way you would go on this??? I am going to call the GI doctor I have an appointment with on the 23rd of December and see what he thinks the reason is? He should have the results of my ultrasound by now. I have also searched the internet with no luck on answers that make sense?
Out of the 5 tumors only one was cancer. The ENT surgeon had to use robotics and go up through my armpit because of all the damage in my neck but now I have this titanium thing on C6 and C7 (I think? or C5?) where they had to remove the C6 disc… I have a lot of damage to my spinal cord in C-Spine and T-Spine more then before because September 2020 a South East Pennsylvania Transit buss backed into me and hit me really hard. He missed his stop and decided to back up. Some days I feel that severe pain in my kidney and some days it’s mild… Sorry this was so long but I have been through a lot and been disabled since 1999. Any advice would be greatly appreciated… Thank You

My Urologist is pretty awesome. Brother is in remission after radiation and Grand Father died of prostate cancer. So my Urologist sees me once a year and so far so good. She is a good person and a great doctor. Fully vaccinated as is wife, Moderna, will be due booster in October.
