Who's excited to see Ardie line up for Moana Pasifika in 2025?

Absolutely why wouldn’t he support his pacific brothers. To support the growth for pacific rugby and inspire other pacific players as a role model- Giving back. Good on him.

Ardie is a legend. Playing with someone like him with his drive and ferocity will provide awesome learnings for his Pasifika team mates. Who doesn't want to see the Super Rugby competition more competitive? Who doesn't want to see that filter into the Samoan and Tongan national team? I know that I do.

The following comment is from a South African, so please take it with a pinch of New Zealand salt or indeed green lipped mussels as you prefer.
I had to have a laugh at JK's comment about Ardie moving to Moa. The incredible amount of unsubtle disrespect for Ardie & his culture was gob-smacking.
His move is great for 'his culture', his game and yes... will still be contracted to play for the 'Main-Island' until 2027... He should be respected after an entire career with the Hurricanes, incredible duty to the Black jersey and a fantastic servant of the game in general.

all these "experts" suggesting Will Jordan on a Justin Marshall Jordan is a FB, without a shadow of a doubt! Razor will play him at FB

At 9 if Ratima and Perinara are both fit I would pick Hotham ahead of Christie, because Christie was too slow between rucks for the game the ABs want to play. And when Roigard is over his injury he comes in and replaces Perinara so we have 3 young talented 9s developing towards the next RWC.

Time for Sam Cane to bow out gracefully, plenty of super talented number 7's showing their hands, please don't go backwards, go forward !

Whateva decision a man makes...it is his own...btwn him and God. Ardie deserves nothing but respect. Kiwis will love and hate him and the NZ badgering machine will kick in to try and break the man down....as if they own him.

I thought Justin Marshall was making a lot of sense with his analysis and commentary! I agree with his point that the ABs are a better team when they look at just the next match/battle ahead!!

You beat a rush defense by running it up the guts and getting 5-10m over the advantage line so the defense can't set and is offside before delivering quick ball to the backs. The backs can then play space (in hand ball, attacking the weak shoulder, and tactical/contestable kicking) supported by a loosie or two. The ABs are developing some monster front-rowers with good hands and athletic second-rowers with the required mongrel. The back row balance needs to be found...Ardie/Blackadder at 7, Pinau/Papali'i at 6, and Sititi/Jacobson at 8. Sam Cane will need to show a good super season t get back in. Christie's delivery and pass is too slow for this style of play...the future is Roigard, Ratima and Hotham. Keep TJ in the squad for now. Rieko does not have the eye for space or kicking required to be a stand-out international center.

Never thought I'd say this but Justin makes sense on the panel here lol. 😂
I like him better on the panel than commentating!

Having Aussie as one of the big 5 is pretty generous 😂

Surly we just allow players to play for any Super Rugby team and still be eligible for the ABs and Wallabies? Similar to the NRL? Just my opinion.

Jeff Wilson is wrong the differences wasn't the dry field and ball. Its the rush defence. Fiji didn't have it so it gave us the extra time and space. Would love to see Dalton at 6 get him playing like Kaino

Lol I thought he was switching to NRL man he would have been a gun lock 13. Moana Pasefika what a great move for Rugby and our Pacific nations. So many positives and an unselfish decision. Malo Uso

Great news for Ardie, more surprising is Justin Marshall one seat closer to hosting the show.
