Lyrics
Well love, you came to my rescue
I knew the moment I met you
Lonely and I was cryin'
Hurtin', I felt like dyin'.
Ooooooh...!

You're the love, you're the love, you're the love in my heart and soul
You're the dream, you're the dream, you're the dream in my life.
You're the way, you're the way, you're the way that my feelings flow

You girl, girl. You, ah ah. You, girl, girl. You

Showed me that I was someone. Gave me the strength to go on
Now that I'm flyin' and free
Thank you for what you gave to me.
Ooooooh...!

You're the love, you're the love, you're the love in my heart and soul
You're the dream, you're the dream, you're the dream in my life.
You're the way, you're the way, you're the way that my feelings flow
Oooohh. my love, Loves

You, girl, girl. You, ah ah. You, girl, girl. You
Shararara... shararara

You're the love, you're the love, you're the love in my heart and soul
You're the dream, you're the dream, you're the dream in my life
You're the way, you're the way, you're the way that my feelings flow
Ooooooh...my love Love's

You, girl girl, you ah ah, You girl girl, you..
You're the love
My heart in my soul
You're the dream of my life
You're way that my feelings flow...
Ooooooh...my love

One of the best songs ever recorded I love it so much.

'Disco Groove' 'filler' or bridge portion of a song from the late 70's and used in so many pop hits from that rhythm and sound

Remember when Warner Bros issued this on a 12" single for the dance clubs. Big across the board hit for Jimmy (RIP) and Dash.

So having just spent about an hour in your playlist after leaving CBP, I pick this song to comment on first. I did listen when you dropped it. Was it their best? Better than We May Never Pass This Way Again? I can't say, even for me. I know I loved it at the time, even though Seals and Crofts going disco seemed a little off. It had that freedom vibe, emphasized by that much used bridge you cue. But it fits this song as well or better than any other. It seems like a bigger happening than the Supremes song of the same name. The only negative for me is the length of the single. Not enough time to get lost in the Studio 54 of the mind. Later I'll check out some longer mixes. But this is the definitive version. 🔥♥️

bridges ain't filler ... they're an important part of the song 😆
