I find it so funny that jackie is so confused by the toe beans 😂 if a cat is laying with its legs completely straight behind them, the bottom of their paws face up (same as the bottom of our feet would), so that's why you can see the toe beans lol

I have a couple of thoughts about this product. It looks like they are wrapped with just tissue paper inside, which should be recyclable. The back feet pointing upwards seems pretty normal to me if the feet are kicked out. My cats do it all the time when they are lounging. But I think a small detail that would be good would be to paint the toes. It would just add an extra touch of detail.

Oh my gosh, I used to watch Aphmau! Back when she made more fantasy and slice of life stories. I loved Diaries, Mystreet, and Phoenix Drop High. I unfortunately stopped watching her because I lost interest in minecraft for awhile. I'm glad that she's still doing well. I absolutely loved these cute kitties. Unicorn cat is probably my favorite since it's my fave aesthetic lol.

I bought one accidentally because it was a cheap mystery option, having no idea it was a trendy social media thing. My granddaughter literally squeaked and squealed when she saw it. She loves it and carries it around (age 7 going on 8). Granny did good, but . . . the power of social media.

When in fact the cat just lays on her belly like a dog, her legs stretched out behind her so that anatomically the beans show. I am very entertained by your confusion x'D

Some thoughts:
The packaging is likely to cut down on waste. I think they might do better to have a smaller box, which could take away the images but a QR code would work well in that situation. Also a darker tissue paper so you can't see everything so well.

Toe beans are definitely intended to be facing up due to how the cats are lying.

On the unicorn, having a "cutie mark" might run it a little too close to MLP and copyright infringement. As to the mane running the length of the back, I can see why it was done the way it was because there is that gap between tail and mane on actual horses. I think maybe having more of a gradient towards the back could satisfy the "blank" feeling as that adds a little to the variation.

as much as i agree with jackie on the details, looking at it realisticly, this product is amazing. The box size is prolly a standard size, and to do smaller would proly need a custom size, therefore bumping the price up. Same for adding a card, vs a one and done pamphlet (tho a card would be a lot nicer). The choice of printed face vs sculpted or painted, as well as the minimal designs and paintjob on the cats themselves are all ways to save money for the consumer.
To add the card, the sculpted faces, extra paintjobs and details? This could easily end up closer to 15/20 bucks US. So the fact that they're only 5 USD? and are still so adorable???
Hell, I'd get a bunch and repaint extras because they're so stinking cheap and adorable!
Not sure how involved Aphmau was in their creation, but great job on the figures!

I think the toe beans being out like that is supposed to be like the corgi flop where there feet are facing up. Cats can lay in alot of strange poses

Paw beans being that way up makes sense, my doggos often like with their back legs stretched out and their lil paw beans point to the sky too! It's totally adorable

Oh, there's another Aphmau product that you're gonna love. She has a mystery plushie series, and they are, in my opinion, great quality and detailed.

The toe beans on top of the foot is actually a really cute detail. If a cat lies down on its tummy with its legs stretched out behind it, its toe beans will, in fact, be on top. That's a very observant detail

I thought of another few things. It looks like the eyes are similar to how they do Barbie eyes now. I watch Myfroggystuff review them a lot. And many times the more affordable dolls have almost like a screen printing for the eyes. Which can cause them to look really shiny and pixelated. I think that takes away from a product, especially if everything else has been painted or well detailed.

The other thing I will say is I appreciate your unbiased opinions on these figures. It's very refreshing after the reviews a few months ago of some of the Mrs. Bench products. Where I felt like a lot of things were underwhelming or definitely not worth the price point. This felt very polite but honest about what could be better and what you liked. So I do appreciate the honesty about these figures.

My niece absolutely loves Aphmau the one thing i love about her toys are that here in the UK the staring price for the small ones are £4.99 then the price for the small stuffed ones is £10. For the medium ones are between £11-16 then for the really big ones they are £40. The dolls are between £11-35. So they are affordable for kids to save up for in a short time depending on what they want.

I like the paper vs plastic packaging, but I agree, the paper should be a bit more so it dosen't rattle around so much. I really appreciate the lack of plastic on these. And they are really cute!!! Perfect price point for the quality.
