Blue Rug Junipers

Planting some more fall and winter plants. These hardy junipers will provide interest all the way till spring.

That is a cool type of shrub. We have gotten much more interested in those types of plants over the past couple of years for something to sustain and not have to reset each year. Junipers are high on our list if we ever get more space or at least space that we own, but shrubs like that one are really cool to see. Thanks for the share!

I LOVE THESE...I have been contemplating buying these for my garden, and I finally pulled the trigger...I'm kinda bummed though because one shriveled up right away within about 2 weeks, and I'm pretty sure it's dead lol...

That’s looking very nice. I had looked at those for my front yard. I wound up going with Squamata ‘holgers’ junipers. I’m glad you are getting a break from the heat. Up here we say if you can get a spade in the ground you can plant a tree or shrub. That said - evergreens do better in our zone planted in spring or at least six weeks before freeze up. Take care.
