I gotta say, I never thought I'd see Stabler's mother again on Law and Order. It's truly refreshing to see her again after Stabler himself comes back.

The way Meloni delivered that line was just perfection. You could see all the rage, anger, & sadness he’s felt since Kathy died.

I'm so very glad they brought Bernadette back.. love this show. Bernie tell Stabler that he's being distant and revenge won't bring his wife Kathy back, just have a feeling that Olivia will probably be dragged back in. This is why I really love watching this show very week, I get so took into it 😊

The intensity of Stabler's pain is so evident in this scene. Here is a man working through his grief and loss. Sometimes you feel as if you have to begin all over again, go through the roller coaster of emotions and it might be weeks... months...before you can even begin to feel any semblance of yourself. It's a process and Stabler is showing that he is only human and I appreciate that. Healing just takes time.

1:38 - 2:13 That was intense! You can see how much Elliot wanted to pull that trigger. If Wheatley's got a death wish, Elliot will be happy to oblige. Bernadette's right. But she can't blame Elliot for being obsessed about wanting to bring Wheatley down. He wants justice for Kathy, she deserves it.

The way she said there is no light. Omg. That line was heavy on Elliot and he knew it from his reaction. I believe the only one who will let Elliot see the light is Olivia. If he just lets her in his heart. He's in the dark now. Olivia is the light in his darkness. Like they always say true love conquers all.

Ah, Academy Award winning Ellen Burstyn. She won a much deserved Primetime Emmy for her appearance as Stabler's mother on SVU. Great actress!

Also she was robbed of a second Oscar for Requiem For a Dream!
