Hi Mate ... as l may have mentioned, like you by observing family friends and general goings on, the patterns emerging started to paint a very different story from the one generally prescribed, even aged 9-11 , l listened to fairy tales (brithers grim) and alike and the path available with time lines, meant l had to accomplish a great deal in a very short time.
In the 70's divorce was still a bad thing as was single motherhood while the need for a strong formal education stated to become apparent. The Rate of change in many areas although in some cases was a good thing (despite the pendulum effect) .
By the 1990's things were not adding up . And the consequences of such massive entanglements suggested that l step back and watch.

And now along with so many other factors l live in a different country happy satisfied healthy and secure in all areas .. and watch as"Rome Burns" ... stay alive my friend.

I was MGTOW before I ever knew what the acronym meant. As soon as I learned what it meant, I found many other men going their own way. I have yet to hear of any man ever regretting it.

My grandma lost her husband in 2005 and continued going her way til she died. It didn't mean find a replacement. She did the thing, she paved the path for that thing, and she went on with her life!

I agree, sooner or later every man has to go mgtow. Its a good thing that gen z are realising it before marrying and getting destroyed. A lot of guys in their 40s these days learned the hard way, married and destroyed. I too learned the hard way I am getting divorced but it's a good thing
