DPS AND SUSTAIN (Welt Updated Guide) | 2.1 Relics, Light Cones, Teams

Here is my complete updated guide to Welt! His delays are invaluable and provide a niche that stays relevant even in 2.1 with Acheron Welt. I go through Welt's best builds, relics, planar ornaments, light cones, and explain how his delay works and why it makes him a sustain help despite being a DPS. His build includes 2.0 relics and the new 2.1 planars as well as Acheron's best Light Cone. Welt Acheron may a strong but high investment duo that helps out her problems, and Gallagher and Aventurine may be cool with him too. I also go through more synergies since his last guide. WELTBA HERE, ANY OG WELT ENJOYERS?
NOTES:
1) To anyone running Wind, full HP SPD, Vonwacq etc. Welt that should work as a pure sustain build :) There shouldn't be a problem with going it, I just think if you can build him with DPS stats at the same time why not go for a hybrid sustain DPS build with best of both worlds ^^ So that's my recommendation for pseudo sustain welt, but it doesn't mean you can't run full sustain if it works. (I've also been informed that @Sidereum is a Welt Sustain enthusiast, go check him out if you wanna see more of Welt Sustain. He prefers Wind Set from what I know, two different takes :D)
2) The Endgame stat goal may be overestimated by accident, 60/120 is a fairer goal (still not easy), with 70/140 being achieveable with buffs from sets :). Sorry for that, but at least I have my warning about goals not being mandatory there for those worrying.

Newer viewer of your channel and I can't tell you how much I love the "Stat Goal" portion. Knowing what main stats & substats are preferred/general ranking of importance can be helpful, but having specific stat page that list an "ideal" helps me figure out what I need to prioritize when improving my established builds. Just wanted to point that out and thank you for it :D

My favourite part about welt is how universal he is. Hypercarry? He's on the job. Dual dps? No problem. Pseudo sustain? Just another day at the office.

He works decently into both ST and aoe content too. And while he does have his synergies, his kit is so flexible that theres very few characters he cant work with(dont use him with clara)

He's my go-to dps on days where i dont like reading and thinking, which is everyday.

Welt has been my trickiest character to build. You really need to decide what you want from him and go for it (unless you farm multiple sets for him).

I decided to go for a full on pysdo sustain/debuff route. I definitely went over kill with the EHR (85%) but he still does decent damage considering I didn't build him specifically for damage (20-40k on skill and ult depending on how many enemies are on the field and crit).

I will say I'm happy they've been adding characters that work with Welt though. When I first got him I wanted to build him but was frustrated since I had better DPS to use and really didn't see great returns on debuffs with him. Now I can work him into teams easier and Ruan Mei was a game changer for his kit.

Thank you for the updated guide, Guoba! Ever since we got Dr.Ratio, my need for Welt as an Imaginary DPS was in shambles (That and the domain for IMG Set was HARD to get good relics), so I appreciate these new options.
