This is a five minute explanation of using Microsoft's free hotkey tool already included in your Window's 10 operating system and how to create these 'Hotkeys'. Imagine all the time and energy you'd save if you only had to hit one key to enter your email address, password or salutation. That is what creating Hotkeys on your computer will do for you! This video demonstrates how quickly and easily you can create these hotkeys.

Instructions for Windows 10:
Open task bar__right click open space or the “^” (brings up menu) __
click on “Show the desktop” __right click anywhere on desktop__New__Autohotkey Script__Name it__
Drag icon back to center of desktop__right click it__Edit Script__
Delete all text__ Define key used example: “^g::” (Don’t include the quotes.)return__ “Send, ‘your text to print’ “__ “Return”__File__Save__Exit.
Then activate it by double clicking on the desktop icon.
(click ‘yes’ if it mentions an older script running.)
Done!
Every time you re-boot your computer you will have to
activate each icon by double clicking on it.

"it's always been there" clicks on third party tool you have to download that isn't included in windows 10.

I use this feature called autocorrect within office programs that have the same function. It’s a text expander and can format your text to look however you want

Maybe it's always been there for Professor, because his IT admin set it up as part of an OS distribution policy... but, yeah.
