I clean houses for a living and this just looks like a swifter sweeper handle with a cheap pad attached. They did put a groove in it to shape to baseboard. I use either vac attachment or swifter duster for dusting baseboards. For deeper clean try eraser sponge. Save some money.

I'm not looking for a deep cleaning product but just a duster type thing. Regular dusting should keep most dirt off and with regular cleaning I would think a deep clean wouldn't be necessary. Swiffers do an excellent job on fans and shelves, so I don't need it for that. I also think you could buy some fleece at the fabric store and make your own replacements. I'm a senior and the longer I can stay in my home the less I'll have to spend on retirement. FYI young folks, buy a ranch with laundry on the first floor. You'll be glad you did when you get older. Thanks for the review. Also I've found that nothing seems to eliminate getting on your knees and doing a good scrub. Hire someone if you must. Carpeting sucks. Tear it out.

In UK we have gas pipes running along the top of the baseboards! I have a spine problem & wondered about this gadget. Thank you for the review and the comments. I will spray with soapy water then use a soft broom.

Thanks for the review. I always check out reviews before buying most new things.

Got this. I have bad knees so this helps a lot. First use it to dust. Put a cloth over the head for dusting then clean the wet brush.

Decent review. I see a lot of comments about using a rag and soapy water. I think that's a good idea, but who the hell want a to bend over and crawl on their hands and knees? I think it's worth it if you have a bad back.

I found mine at a thrift store for $2.99, minus the pad. I sewed a piece of velcro on a sponge, attached it to the base and use it to scrub my shower floor.

I just use my vacuum cleaner brush for the basboards. For higher shelves and ceiling fans I use an extendable Swiffer. Thank you for this review!

Good review! A good quality, lightly dampened microfiber cloth secured to the bottom of a broom works great, especially if you dust or vacuum first, which you should do anyway to avoid a bigger mess. A clean mop barely wet with water and a little vinegar works well on walls (no soap), including flat paint, which is generally what I do once or twice a year after dusting with a fluffy floor dust mop and going around with a Magic Eraser or microfiber cloth to get rid of any scuffs (roughly 15 minutes per floor). I try to dust my baseboards, vents, blinds, fixtures and fans, knicknacks, furniture weekly (at least monthly as a minimum) with a Swiffer 360 or similar to avoid dirt and dust from sticking due to humidity and time. Takes seconds to do baseboards (7 minutes to dust everything per floor here without clutter), and is way, way, way less work by the time you actually clean, coming from someone who hates to clean. Just a quick wipe and your house always looks sparkly, even when you don't.

Thanks for the review. Looks like this might be over priced and underwhelming.

you're generous. i do appreciate when a product is obviously stupid you don't trash on them.

Thanks. Just received my today and quality was about what I expected for the price. I got it because I’m an old fart😂 and can’t bend down as easily as I used to, so it looks like I’ll be able to do that job a bit easier than before. Very good review!!

This would be really handy for me, as I have MS & I can't bend down anymore, nor get on my hands & knees now

Wetting a broom with soap and water works great to get in the cracks of the baseboard. Or spray the baseboard with soap and water mixture. let sit then take a microfiber towel or rag that is the size of the the bottom of your broom. Cut a hole the size of the handle of your broom. put the handle of the broom through the hole until the towel covers the bottom of the broom. You can put on velcro tabs for a tight fit. It cleans and drys at the same time

Wonder how it would do on a flat baseboard with no lip at the top?

Your house looks VERY realistic. I love it! This is very familiar to ours.

a dollar store sponge mop works just as good

I have an old Electrolux canister vacuum that I can put a brush on (came with the vacuum) that does a great job of getting dusty baseboard molding clean . I still need to find something that I can put a cleaner on and clean stuck on dirt off of them so I don't have to get on my hands and knees to do so. This product doesn't do that good of a job and starts falling apart.

I'm thinking a 'Chomp Long Handle' might work better, I'm going to wet it with some soap and water.

I use a swiffer most of the time. IF I need to get heavier duty I sit on the floor with a bucket and cloth. This in theory would combine the two but feels like I just stick with the way I usually do it.
