On the BCP, when you ask for the statement credit and if it posts ad a negative balance, you can then call in for a refund and get a check

I also used 44, 000 UR points recently to pay my CSR annual fee. I am points rich and cash poor, or more like I'd rather not use my cash when I have more points than I can reasonably use.

2nd comment. had to say it somewhere. You may remember me saying travel is on a down turn. I cashed out 1.2 million amex points before my business platinum annual fee hits... there i said it. I put it in my taxable bridge account for earlier retirement. Now i'm sitting with 600k Chase UR and CSR for anything domestic and your spreadsheetshowing 18k points is all you really need to do to make it worth it is why I'm holding the CSR as my only high end travel card.
