1. You also should bake your board to get the moisture out, failing to do so will cause delamination/blistering on the PCB and the BGA. Happened to me this week on a rush job.
2. Be careful when cleaning the pads on the PCB after you remove the BGA, you do not want to be aggressive and scrape off the masking around the pads, it'll cause solder to travel where it's no supposed to when adding the new part.
3. Backing up what was said in the video, use thermocouples! If you control your heat, your board may survive multiple heating cycles.
