Undertale belongs to Toby Fox.

All I did was slow it down.

Enjoy!

This sounds how growing up feels. Which makes sense, not just for me, but for a lot of you too. Yes, you, reading this very message. Don't mean to pull the casual cliche 4th wall break, but it's needed, especially at a time like this. Some of you guys in the comments, i probably met along the way, and let me say, i couldn't possibly be happier with how you've grown. You have emerged into this blessed soul inside a sacred vessel, and you are taking control and care of yourself better than i ever could've imagined. I love you for that. Whoever you may be, i love the everloving fuck out of you. You know why?

*Because you've made it this far.* You've made your stretch, while maybe not meeting your goal, you've pushed and shoved and fought your way through this, now sorry to say, hellhole of a planet. Thank you for sticking around this long, and not ending it shortly like some others that've met their breaking point and makers. But they have gone, where to i wish i could tell you, but no matter how far, what dimension, universe, ANYTHING. They are still with you. Always will be. Now, since you've read this far, I can't help but notice you've given me a voice in your head, correct? Now, i don't know what voice, but i know it's someone, fictional or real, alive or dead, doesn't matter. Because to you, this voice is familiar. It's comforting. It's lifting, it's reminiscent, whoever it is, it's...me. You are reading this in my voice, and i am here for you. Now that that's in your head, kindly repeat after me, please and thank you.

*You are cared for. You are loved. You are respected. You are the smartest goddamn person I know, and I know because you know it too. You are so smart, and charismatic, and funny, and good-looking, and just the greatest person i could've ever had in my life. I hope you cherish this life and gift it with the greatest power you can bestow: Your All.*

And from here on out, i want you to remember these words. The whole thing, or a little tid bit you felt hit close to home. I don't know what you're going through, but i feel the pain. Every day. You are going to be okay. One more time, after me.
*I am going to be okay.*
You are going to be okay.

Keep living your lives, everyone, because there are those that can't anymore. My respects, condolences, and dearest of regards.

- Dean.

I miss undertale. Im just happy to see people making Undertale content to this day. Undertale made up most of my childhood, as well as me who met my best friends through this fandom.

Four damn years, *we stayed determined, ASGORE.*

it sounds like a "no mercy" ending, where you kill everything in your path but dont go out of you way to grind like genocide

What if An Ending was sped up and formatted so that it plays with the same structure as the Ruins theme? If you think about it, they're really close. I literally have that nonexistent hybrid of them running in my head these days XD

Listening to this feels nostalgic. I haven’t played much Undertale anymore but it’s nice to know some parts of the fandom are still alive. Now I know what to hear when I feel sad or need alone time.

War ending (everyone dead, others doesn't harmed)
This ending gives you just a dialogue between monsters in civil war, the dialogue should be about how everything goes apocalyptic and dialogue is by some unknown monster that in mid-war between others and at ending he says "even the humans doesn't know what hell is trapped inside this underground"

SANS…

I KNOW YOU’RE ASLEEP.

THE FIRST TIME YOU SLEPT IN A LONG, LONG TIME.

BUT THE WAY YOU’VE BEEN ACTING…

IT IS SO UNLIKE THE BROTHER I GREW UP WITH.

THE ONE THAT WOULD PLAY TERRIBLE JOKES…

THE ONE WHO VALUED HIS FRIENDS AND MEMORIES…

I KNOW THAT YOU WERE VERY RESERVED, EVEN IN THE PAST.

BUT EVER SINCE WE ARRIVED HERE IN SNOWDIN…

I WATCHED AS YOU CHANGED INTO THIS COLD, JADED KILLER.

YOU BEGAN YOUR MURDEROUS SPREE.

YOU PUSHED ME TO SEEK REVENGE ON THE HUMANS.

YOU BASHED MY HEAD IN FOR REFUSING TO FINISH OFF…

SANS…

I CANNOT HELP BUT THINK…

DO YOU EVEN CARE ABOUT ME ANYMORE.

PERHAPS WE’LL SEE IF I BECOME ONE WITH THE SNOW OR NOT.

I OWE ALL OF OUR AN APOLOGY.

NONE OF YOU DESERVED ANY OF THIS.

ESPECIALLY YOU, KRIS.

MY ARROGANCE AND DOUBT TRULY BLINDED ME.

- Some dialogues later…

DO NOT APOLOGIZE, MS. NOELLE.

THIS IS NOT YOUR BURDEN TO CARRY.

STARTING TODAY, I TURN OVER A NEW LEAF.

I WANT TO START MAKING A POSITIVE MARK ON THE WORLD.

AND THAT STARTS WITH CEASING MY GOALS OF BECOMING A ROYAL GUARDSMAN.

AS COOL AS THE TITLE IS, IT IS WRITTEN IN BLOOD.

AND CONTINUES TO GROW WORSE BY THE DAY.

INSTEAD, I AIM TO HELP THOSE IN NEED.

I KNOW MANY PEOPLE AROUND HERE NEED THAT KIND OF HELP.

ESPECIALLY WITH HOW COLD THE UNDERGROUND IS.

I DO HOPE THAT OTHERS WILL ACCEPT MY CHANGE.

THANK YOU.

TAKE CARE, YOU THREE.

- Papyrus, DELTATRAVELER section 3 (Hell’s forest).

PD: I’m crying right now. I don’t want excuses. This is beautiful. Super beautiful and… well, bye.

"Undertale OST - An Ending - Slowed + Reverb" Video Analysis

The video titled "Undertale OST - An Ending - Slowed + Reverb" offers a captivating auditory experience that transcends the boundaries of conventional music appreciation. Undertale, a renowned indie game developed by Toby Fox, boasts an intricate and emotionally resonant original soundtrack that significantly contributes to the game's atmosphere. This particular video takes one of the most poignant tracks, "An Ending, " and employs the techniques of slowing down and adding reverb to transform the listener's perception of the music.

The act of slowing down the original composition serves as a deliberate alteration that invites listeners to delve into the nuances of the melody. As the tempo decreases, every note becomes more pronounced, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in the intricacies of the arrangement. This deceleration unravels the layers of the composition, revealing hidden harmonies and subtle shifts in tonality that may have previously gone unnoticed. This alteration in tempo offers a fresh perspective on the music, inviting listeners to perceive it as a dynamic and evolving entity.

The addition of reverb further enriches the auditory encounter by imbuing the music with a sense of space and depth. The reverberations create an illusion of the music resonating within a vast expanse, evoking feelings of introspection and contemplation. The echoes of the notes linger, merging with subsequent ones to form a seamless cascade of sound. This ethereal quality not only amplifies the emotional impact of the composition but also encourages listeners to immerse themselves fully, as if being surrounded by the music itself.

"An Ending" is a particularly evocative piece, and the application of slowing down and reverb amplifies its emotional potency. The mournful yet hopeful undertones of the original composition are heightened, resulting in a more profound and lingering effect on the listener's emotions. The extended duration of each note allows for a deeper connection, evoking introspection and a sense of wistfulness. The reverb accentuates the bittersweet nature of the music, like a fading memory that remains vivid even as it recedes.

Moreover, the video's experimental approach prompts listeners to reflect on the malleability of music itself. It underscores how altering fundamental elements like tempo and spatial characteristics can lead to an entirely different auditory encounter. This video becomes a testament to the transformative power of sound manipulation, a reminder that the emotional impact of music is not fixed but can be shaped in numerous ways. It encourages a deeper engagement with the sonic realm, inviting listeners to explore music beyond its traditional boundaries.

In a broader sense, the video "Undertale OST - An Ending - Slowed + Reverb" exemplifies the fusion of art and technology. It demonstrates how digital tools can be harnessed to reinterpret and enhance artistic expressions, offering creators new avenues for experimentation. The video serves as a bridge between the familiar and the novel, taking a cherished piece of music and presenting it in a way that challenges preconceptions and sparks curiosity.

In conclusion, "Undertale OST - An Ending - Slowed + Reverb" is more than a simple auditory alteration; it is an exploration of the multifaceted nature of music and emotion. Through the manipulation of tempo and the addition of reverb, the video crafts a distinctive sonic experience that encourages listeners to engage deeply with the music. It amplifies the emotional resonance of the original composition, inviting reflection, introspection, and a renewed appreciation for the transformative potential of sound.

It really creates a mood. I'm in the undertale fandom since 2017, the summer holiday right before the begining of my first middle school year. And 7 years later i'm still in it, right before my first year of university.

some few songs like this one sound so good in slowed reverb that they open a whole new chapter imo.

*ring, ring*
Heya.
We now have to wait for 7 more humans. All because of that dumb flower. It isn’t your fault. We just want to leave. Sure, the king may have disappeared, but we are still here. Waiting. Waiting for the exit. An ending to our suffering. Alphys admitted to us about the amalgamates. She hasn’t been out of her lab since. Mettaton also disappeared, with Alphys. But, we hope everything is alright where ever you are. Goodbye. *click*
