Kevin Finn (Jason Ritter) is not a good person. He’s not terrible, but he’s selfish, and clueless, and values material wealth and status over all else. And he’s beginning to realize that those things aren’t making him happy – in fact, he’s fairly miserable. Just when things seem to be at their worst, he finds himself tasked with an unbelievable mission… saving the world.

This show is funny and sad and spiritual all at the same time. It is such an uplifting show and it's exactly what this lost world needs to reiterate the importance of values and morals that are no a longer priority in this world.

Looks like exactly the kind of show we need right now. There are a lot of people walking around like this that need to be awakened. Can't wait to see. Loved Jason Ritter in Parenthood. Looking forward to seeing more of Kimberly H. Johnson.

There's a trailer where Dipper says one of the stupidest lines ever "I'm not good at this 'life' thing" and it cracks me up every time I hear it. Does anyone know where I can find it because I need to put it on repeat and I don't know where it is.

Yeah, there is something about the character casting from this trailer that makes it appealing. I am pessimistic about its survival in the US market. Maybe joins the family drama cult of Netflix programs on Facebook next season. The challenge is to walk the fine line of sappy on one side and heart-warming ly clever and well acted on the other...with lots of critics trying to push it over that edge..I genuinely feel for the team that sold this. I'd like to see an episode. M

~ Not to worry, the show may have gotten cancelled because of some dumb excuse, like, it was too much like the office, & so were some other shows.
~ But in the end, it would have turned out that all the heavenly beings that gave up their lives in heaven to come down to Earth to find the missing 35 who will help save the world, would themselves turn out to be the missing rest of the 35 that were needed, as they kept turning back into humans, per as they had all previously died & gone to heaven, & were now resurrecting & reincarnating on Earth again as they were, before they died.
