I miss the next generation class, they had such an authentic, real feel to them. The show seemed so much more realistic and gritty. I miss how they used to focus on a smaller group of cast, you really got to know the characters deeper. I always liked seeing the characters at home and that their live is different from outside of school. Now it's so polished and has the fake TV studio feel. The show barely scrapes the surface of most of the characters. ALSO, the school is way too nice, like what school looks like that?

Why don't they make a Reunion of Degrassi the next generation with the whole cast and have at least 20 episodes. I just want to see what they are doing these days

I'm pretty sure I cried when Craig appeared and was singing Rescue You. That song is my favorite and so is Craig so it was just great. I also loved the name drops for people who weren't there (Terri, Manny and ofc Jimmy)

The minute Spinner said his purpose was to "Serve up the new cast on a silver platter" that indicated something to me.. That basically says right there the studio knows the audience isn't buying into these new characters, There is a reason everyone liked Spinner, Jimmy, Sean, Craig, Emma, Manny, Liberty, J.T., Toby, etc. the original cast, They were all given a character and a storyline to work with now the kids seem they are lacking some of the depth the actors from back then had plus they all fit into the big picture and watching them all since grade 7 the audience got to know them over time thats why the original cast will always be the best.

No Manny, no Sean, no one a part from Snake from the older degrassi, no Claire or Alli or Eli. None of the other characters I loved. Please do another reunion but with lot of the old cast!!!

Emma and Spinner still together, really? After Linda and Stephen, the creators of Degrassi: The Next Generation (and nearly everyone else involved in the show) admitted that it came out of nowhere AND it was a huge mistake?

You know it, I know it, the show's cast knows it: It's always been Emma and Sean, always will be.

Holly J was my last favorite character, after she left I tried to continue watching but it just wasn't the same without the original cast. I'm sure it's still a nice show but I guess my Degrassi days are just over. Anyway, did anyone else notice the guy who was holding a microphone ( 1:03 ) was wearing a Holly J t-shirt? Didn't know they still had those :)

Man I really wish I grew up with Degrassi. I’ve just started watching it recently a lot and it’s really amazing. Like imagine watching Degrassi: The Next Generation throughout your childhood, becoming an actor and then making a part in Degrassi: The Next Class. And then being able to meet many of the former actors whom you watched for so long to film an episode. Absolutely a dream for me!
