Paulette est une composition de Ibrahima Kouyaté, qui était le guitariste soliste du groupe au début des années 80 apres le départ du titulaire dr sekou Diabaté.
Paulette Diakité fut la marraine du groupe. Elle a soutenu les balladins financièrement et moralement, pour la remercier, le groupe a composé cette belle musique à son honneur.

My beloved Guinea had the most talented and gifted bands ever orchestrated in the entire continent of Africa in the 60s and 70s just after our independence from France in 1958. You love this band? Check out Bembeya Jazz National also. Their work is legendary and can never be replicated 😔
