BF 2042 DirectX Crash Errors

In this video, I will be showing you how to fix DirectX errors in Battlefield 2042 on your PC or laptop. Battlefield 2042 is an awesome game however, there can be errors with the game such as DirectX errors (more specifically DirectX Function errors). These errors will pop up with a warning window and make your game crash, like the error I show you in this video did to my PC. You may have had your game crash with an error such as; E_OUTOFMEMORY, DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED, g_dx12Renderer, D3D12_HEAP_FLAG_NONE. But hopefully, by following the steps in this video, you will fix any DirectX Battlefield 2042 errors that you have been facing.

Just delete the bf2042 folder in documents and restart the game.

1 year later game still crashes, particullarly after Update with season 5. All fixes implemneted multiples times no overclocking, tried running on both on win 10 and 11. I dunno what they have done with the game but after 340h+ in it it's literally unplayable since i can't even launch it.

I’ve tried every single tip possible and the game still does it, uninstalled it countless times, and when it does work I get into a game and it just crashes, game is pure fucking shit

Done all Those tips multipel times since Day 5 and cleaning PC etc, its now known it’s a problem with the game and not our PC according to DICE. They working on the Problem.

I found a Excellent fix. Try this if your on PC!!! Launch Origin.
Open task manager. Change CPU Priority to High or Realtime for Origin.exe!!
Relaunch Battlefield and the game ran fkn great!! Then I got the direct x error.. lmao thats why I'm here now!!!!

I'd just like to thank you for this guide because I was having problems with Need For Speed Unbound not starting up and following this guide *seems* to have fixed the problem. FYI I needed to update Windows 11.

The only that seems to work since release is to go NVIDIA controll panel and go safty mode that have now worked over 28h with 20+ rounds. So after all bullshit tricks this was the easy way and took 5sec 😂

i have issue too in beta version when released and freezing my laptop after spawning in map, well., i have old laptop with config.Gpu:Gtx850m 4gb - Ram:16 gb ddr3- Cpi:Core i7 4510u 2.00ghz.All My Drivers Well Be Updated and Gpu Driver Too Updated And Windows too updated, i check some website cani run battlefield 2042 or not, i set my config, and say i can play minumum config battlefield 2042, i hope if i buying battlefield 2042 did not have any issue for crashing or freezing in game

I bought pc month ago and the same issue on Amd ryzen 7 5800x . It looks like PC overheating and graphics problems .Ill return it
